Isaiah Rashad presents his album It's Been Awful, blending hip-hop, jazz, rock and soul, at the Paramount Theatre.
Isaiah Rashad plays the Paramount Theatre on Tuesday, November 10, 2026. The show comes from It's Been Awful, his third studio album, which dropped on May 1. It's a record that pushes well past hip-hop into cosmic jazz, psychedelic guitar rock, and Soulquarian neo-soul, with a good bit of genre-blurring experimentation in between. Rashad describes it as the moment he fully became his own genre, and as his most vulnerable and fully realized work yetβan unfiltered look at addiction, growth, self-confrontation, and redemption.
Rashad has been building one of modern rap's most impactful catalogs since he emerged from Chattanooga, Tennessee, in 2012. His debut, Cilvia Demo, was followed by The Sun's Tirade, which debuted in the Top 20 of the Billboard 200 and went Gold. In 2021, he released The House Is Burning, which has since amassed nearly a billion global streams. Along the way, he's picked up several Gold and Platinum certifications, with standout records like "Wat's Wrong," featuring Kendrick Lamar and Zacari, and "Pretty Little Birds," featuring SZA.
