An unscripted improv comedy show where performers create movie mashups and literary spoofs from audience suggestions in a lively happy hour setting.
Improv Happy Hour is back at Unexpected Productions on Friday, October 30, from 6 PM to 7 PM. It's a one-hour improv comedy show where everything is unscripted and unpredictable: the performers take suggestions from the audience and turn them on the spot into movie mashups, literary spoofs, and bold, experimental comedy. Since the whole thing is built on what the crowd throws their way, no two shows ever end up the same.
The venue is the Unexpected Productions Market Theater at 1428 Post Alley, right by the iconic Gum Wall in Pike Place Market. It's a family-friendly show, so it works as a pre-dinner thing with friends or as an early evening out with the kids. This particular date is part of a series of twelve Improv Happy Hour shows running through November 2026, so if you miss this one, there are plenty more to choose from over the next few weeks.

Unexpected Productions Improv has stayed open since March 2020, playing to decreased capacity, and this series keeps that momentum going. The show runs from 6 PM to 7 PM, and there's $1 off drinks during happy hour. Free or reduced-cost access is supported by 4Culture.
