High on Fire, a metal band from Oakland, California, perform at The Showbox in Seattle on New Year's Day.
High on Fire play The Showbox on Friday, January 1, 2027. It's New Year's Day, so if you're looking for a way to start the year with something heavy, this is it.
High on Fire are metal titans from Oakland, California, and they've been playing since 1998. Their sound pulls from metal, sludge, stoner metal, stoner rock, and thrash, and they've put out the album Cometh the Storm. The set is built around those heavy riffs they've been known for over the years.
On stage, you'll find Matt Pike on vocals and guitars, Jeff Matz on bass, and Coady Scott Willis on drums. It's a power trio, and they're the ones who bring that sound to life.
