Soul, alternative and folk singer-songwriter Hans Williams performs live at Neumos in Seattle.
Hans Williams plays Neumos on Saturday, March 20, 2027, at 8 PM. He's an independent singer-songwriter originally from Norwich, Vermont, who now lives and works in New Orleans. He describes his music as a form of personal catharsis, channeling his emotions into each composition, and his sound is described as soulful, dreamy folk shaped by the people and places closest to him.
His debut album, Songs for the Neighbors, was born in the backyard of his Bayou St. John home, where late-night jams and intimate shows regularly spill over fences and through open windows. Recorded largely live at the house with his longtime band and producer Phin Choukas (Noah Kahan), the record blends folk with touches of soul, funk, psychedelia, and country. It's about connection with friends, lovers, family, neighbors, and those no longer here.
