Three rock bands performing live at Tim's Tavern, a White Center venue with over-21s only.
Gniffke headlines a three-band rock bill at Tim's Tavern on Friday, October 9, with Drop the Star and Chairs for Giants rounding out the night. It's a straightforward rock lineup presented by the venue itself, so you've got three acts on one stage rather than a single band and a few openers. The music starts at 8 PM.
Drop the Star comes up from Tacoma, Washington, and they describe themselves as "a TRUE ROCK & ROLL BAND." If that's the pitch, you can probably guess where they're coming from—guitar-driven, loud, and not trying to be anything other than what they call it. They're the regional act of the night, making the trip from the South Sound to White Center.
Tim's Tavern is at 9655 16th Ave SW in the White Center neighborhood of Seattle. A couple of things to keep in mind before you head over: seating works on a first-come, first-served basis, so if you want a spot, it's worth getting there a bit early. Also, the bar and kitchen are restricted to over-21s with ID, so bring yours if you're planning on drinks or food.
