Concert by the Luxembourg-based indie rock project Francis of Delirium, supported by Clover, at Barboza in Seattle.
Francis of Delirium plays Barboza on Monday, October 26, with Clover opening. It's a Monday night show, so it'll be a bit of a mid-week outing rather than a weekend one.
Francis of Delirium is the project of Jana Bahrich, a Luxembourg-based artist who writes, produces, and directs much of what she does herself. She's been building the project since high school, when she put out the 2020 single "Quit Fucking Around." From there she moved through three EPs—All Change in 2020, Wading in 2021, and The Funhouse in 2022—before releasing her debut album, Lighthouse, in 2024. Live, the project fills out into a full band: Jeff Hennico on bass and Denis Schumacher on drums.
They've toured across Europe and North America, playing with Blondshell, Bôa, Horsegirl, Briston Maroney, and Soccer Mommy, and have supported The 1975, Alanis Morissette, and Wolf Alice. This stop is part of the run for their new album, Run, Run Pure Beauty, which Bahrich produced alongside Chris Hewett and which was mixed by Nicolas Vernhes.
