Seattle-based jazz trumpeter and alto saxophonist Fernando Ferrarone brings his quartet to The Royal Room for an album release night, playing original compositions from his upcoming record 'Travel With Me' alongside material from his first album, 'Now Till Forever'.
Fernando Ferrarone brings his quartet to The Royal Room on Monday, October 12, for an album release. Ferrarone is a Seattle-based jazz trumpeter and alto saxophonist, and this set is built around his upcoming record, Travel With Me. He'll be playing original compositions from that new album alongside material from his first record, Now Till Forever, so the night pulls from both the new stuff and the older songs.
He's not on his own for this one. The quartet includes Bob Bruya on bass, Russell Kranes on piano, and Sam Hart on drums. It's a full rhythm section behind him, and the group's work has made its way onto national radio, including KNKX here in Seattle and Tacoma. If you've heard them on the air, this is a chance to catch them live.
