Stand-up comedy show with Conor Janda, a New Face of Comedy at the Just for Laughs Festival.
Conor Janda plays the Emerald City Comedy Club on Wednesday, October 7, with the show starting at 7:30 PM. Doors open an hour early at 6:30 PM.
Janda is a stand-up comedian, writer, and actor whose work draws on his experience as a New York transplant and his roots in Philadelphia. He was named a New Face of Comedy at the Just for Laughs Festival in Montreal and has been featured as a writer and actor on the Gag, Comedy Central's queer digital channel. His stand-up covers being a stay-at-home dad, attending an all-boys Catholic school, and getting sober from alcohol.
When he isn't touring, he's the co-creator, writer, and star of the web series BOYS CLUB, which he developed alongside friend and collaborator Nico Carney with Imagine Entertainment and Scott King. That project sits on the writing side of his work, while this is the live stand-up.

A few practical things to keep in mind before you head over: the show is 21+ with a valid ID. The best 25% of the room is reserved seating, and the rest is general admission on a first-come, first-served basis, so if you're hoping for a good spot, getting there early is your best bet. There's also a two-item minimum in the showroom. The club is at 210 Broadway E in Seattle, and the show starts at 7:30 PM.
