Colorblind (TX)

Colorblind (TX) play Showbox SoDo on Wednesday, October 28, with Catch Your Breath, TX2 and ARANKAI opening. It's a mid-week bill that brings together four acts on one stage, with the Texas rock band taking the top slot.

Colorblind comes in from Austin, Texas, and they're touring their new album, WHO SOLD YOU THIS TRUTH ++ WAS IT YOURS TO HOLD, which came out on August 28. The record is still fresh, and the set will lean on it. They describe their sound as sitting at the crossroads of alternative rock, pop rock and post-hardcore — three styles that overlap enough to keep the songs familiar, but distinct enough to pull the set in a few different directions. If you've been following them, this is the first time you'll hear the new material live in Seattle.

They aren't the only ones on the bill. Catch Your Breath, TX2 and ARANKAI all open before Colorblind takes the stage, so the night starts well before the headliner. It's a full lineup rather than a single opener, which means the music starts early and runs through the evening.

The show is at Showbox SoDo, 1700 1st Ave S, and it starts at 6 PM. Tickets are $12.
