Concert by the Los Angeles trio Clarion, mixing J-rock, shoegaze, grunge and pop, with support from Novulent at the Neumos venue.
Clarion play Neumos on Wednesday, November 18, with Novulent opening. It's a mid-week show, so if you're planning to be there, keep in mind it falls on a Wednesday night rather than a weekend.
Clarion is a trio from Los Angeles, and they describe their sound as being driven by loud amps, distortion and danceable beats. They pull from a few different places at once—J-rock, shoegaze, grunge and pop—and the result sits across noise rock, pop, rock, grunge and alt rock. It's a wide net, but the common thread is that loud, distorted edge. The band is fronted by Joseph, Anthony and Saya.
