Indie rock and folk rock performance by Ceiling Wine with supporting acts Alberta & The Dead Eyes and The Smallest Bear With The Biggest Paws.
Ceiling Wine play The Mountain Room on Friday, October 16, with Alberta & The Dead Eyes and The Smallest Bear With The Biggest Paws opening. The show runs from 7 PM to 11 PM at 3100 Airport Way South.
Ceiling Wine is a folk rock band from the outskirts of Seattle. The project started as the solo work of primary songwriter Nate Hainzinger, who was later joined by long-time drummer Mike Braun. The current lineup adds Fraser Brearley on bass and John Burbridge on guitar and vocals. Their sound pulls from folk, reggae, country, pop rock, emo and jam-band influences, balancing rootsy imagery with catchy pop hooks. They spent the summer of 2024 writing and rehearsing an upcoming album, so this set should give you a look at where they're heading next.
