A candlelit concert with a string quartet performing a tribute to Taylor Swift's greatest hits in an intimate venue.
The Seattle String Quartet is playing a tribute to Taylor Swift at the Seattle Public Library - Central Library on Friday, October 9, at 6:30 PM. It's part of the Candlelight concert series, which pairs live classical-string arrangements of popular music with the glow of thousands of LED candles in architecturally distinctive venues across the city. The Central Library is one of them, and this is just one of several dates: the same program returns on Sunday, November 22, Saturday, December 12, and Saturday, January 30, 2027.
The tentative program pulls from across Swift's catalog. You'll hear Love Story, Anti-Hero, Cruel Summer, Shake It Off, and You Belong With Me, alongside medleys from Red, Reputation, folklore, and 1989. There's also The Fate of Ophelia on the list. Each show runs about an hour.
Candlelight does this in a few different spots around Seattle—the Arctic Club Hotel, the Museum of Flight, the National Nordic Museum, and Sparkman Cellars are among them. Doors open 45 minutes before the performance, and there's no entry once it starts, so you'll want to be there early. Seating is assigned on a first-come, first-served basis within each zone. The experience is recommended for ages 8 and older, and anyone under 16 needs to be accompanied by an adult. This is a tribute concert and isn't affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Taylor Swift, her estate, or her official representatives.

Tickets start at $33.00. If you're a fan of the songs but want to hear them stripped down to strings in a room full of candles, this is a good way to do it.
