An evening of craft beer, cider, wine and kombucha tastings with talks from expert brewers at the Pacific Science Center, with after-hours access to exhibits.
Brewology takes over the Pacific Science Center on Saturday, November 21, from 7 PM to 10 PM. It's an evening of craft beer, cider, wine, and kombucha tastings, paired with talks from expert brewers on the science behind the pour. You'll get a commemorative Brewology tasting glass to use throughout the night, and the whole event is strictly 21+.
The tasting lineup pulls from across the region. On the beer side, there are pours from Aslan Brewing, Burke Gilman Brewing Company, Chuckanut Brewery, Flying Bike Cooperative Brewery, Watts Brewing Company, and Fast Fashion Brewing. The cider and kombucha come from Portland Cider Company, Republic of Cider, Slightly Furry Beverage Company, and Jötunn Ciderhouse. Flair Taco is on hand with food and snacks to keep you going between tastings.
One of the best parts is that the night doesn't stop at the drinks. Your ticket includes after-hours access to more than 70 interactive exhibits around the campus. The Pacific Science Center itself is a private, not-for-profit center that's been bringing science to life since the 1962 Seattle World's Fair. It's home to a Tropical Butterfly House, an insect village, a planetarium, and robotic dinosaurs, and it's grown into one of the most attended science centers in the country and the most attended museum in the region. So, between the tastings and the talks, you can wander through the exhibits while the rest of the city is outside.
