Country singer-songwriter Braxton Keith performs his 'Told You Once Tour' with special guest Tyla Rodrigues at the Crystal Ballroom.
Braxton Keith brings his Told You Once Tour to The Showbox on Wednesday, March 11, with Tyla Rodrigues opening. It's a stop on his 2027 tour, and the set will pull from his major-label debut, REAL DAMN DEAL, the record that landed him on artist-to-watch lists from Amazon Music and Rolling Stone.
Keith is a Texas-born country singer-songwriter and a newcomer to Warner Music Nashville, part of a younger generation bringing back the core of honky-tonk. He grew up in Midland, where he learned piano from his grandmother—who admired Porter Wagoner—and spent his youth singing gritty tunes like "The Carroll County Accident." He started writing songs in a garage and has been touring nonstop since 2020, blending honky-tonk twang with a Tracy Lawrence-style vocal and a San Antonio Spanish influence. He arrived in Nashville in 2021, and his 2024 single "Cozy" found a spot on Spotify's New Boots and Breakout Country.
His sound draws on honky-tonk, Western swing, and traditional country, and he names Lainey Wilson, Tucker Wetmore, and Gavin Adcock as influences. He describes his goal as keeping country music "to its core," and REAL DAMN DEAL is the first full-length record to put that out there. The tour brings that material to the stage, with Tyla Rodrigues opening the night.
