Boston Manor perform their album 'Be Nothing' for their 10th anniversary at The Showbox, with support from Ben Quad and Super Sometimes.
Boston Manor are playing The Showbox on Wednesday, November 25, for a special anniversary show. They're performing Be Nothing in full, the debut album that put them on the map. It's part of a wider tour celebrating ten years since the record first came out.
Boston Manor formed in Blackpool in 2013 and signed to the US indie label Pure Noise Records, releasing Be Nothing in 2016. The album earned them a Best British Breakthrough nomination at the 2018 Kerrang Awards and opened a lot of doors for them, including tours with Moose Blood, Knuckle Puck, Have Mercy, Lower Than Atlantis and Four Year Strong, and a spot on the 2017 Vans Warped Tour. Bassist Dan Cunniff recalled writing and recording it as one of the most exciting things the band had done at the time, and that it gave them the confidence to become a real band. On its heels they announced their first-ever UK/EU headline tour, which he said sold out.
The album was re-released as Be Nothing. 10 Year Anniversary Edition on August 14 via Pure Noise Records, and that edition includes acoustic reworkings of the songs, including "Lead Feet."
