Concert by Los Angeles alt-rock artist Blondshell at Showbox SoDo, with proceeds supporting The Ally Coalition.
Blondshell plays Showbox SoDo on Sunday, March 7, 2027, at 8 PM. It's the project of Sabrina Teitelbaum, a Los Angeles artist who works across grunge, alternative, and indie rock, and she'll be the only act on the bill.
If you're coming to her for the first time, there's a fair amount to catch up on. Her self-titled 2023 debut made Barack Obama's Best Songs of 2023 list. The 2025 follow-up, If You Asked For A Picture, drew from touchstones like Queens of the Stone Age and Smashing Pumpkins, and landed on best-of lists at Billboard, Rolling Stone, and NME. The New York Times called her "an alt-rock supernova." That same year she put out Another Picture, a companion album featuring Conor Oberst, Samia, Folk Bitch Trio, John Glacier, and Gigi Perez. And now her third album, Violins, is out.
She's been on the road for a while—more than 150 shows, late-night TV appearances, and major festival stages including Coachella and Glastonbury. The songwriting is the thing that usually sticks: crunchy guitars and big hooks paired with dry humor and a certain kind of devastating clarity. It's the sort of thing that works just as well on a record as it does live.

Practical details: the show is all ages to enter, but you have to be 21 and over to drink. And there's a charitable side to the ticket—$1 from every one sold goes to The Ally Coalition, which supports homeless and at-risk LGBTQ youth. The set starts at 8 PM at Showbox SoDo, 1700 1st Ave S.
