Concert featuring the British post-hardcore and punk band Basement, with support from High Vis, Big Boy and Lowertown.
Basement play Showbox SoDo on Tuesday, October 27, with High Vis, Big Boy and Lowertown opening. It's a full bill, so you'll be in there well before the headliner takes the stage.
Basement is a British post-hardcore and punk band that formed in 2009. They've stayed the same five members since the start: vocalist Andrew Fisher, guitarists Alex Henery and Ronan Crix, bassist Duncan Stewart and drummer James Fisher. That's a rare run for a band in this scene, especially one that's been going for over fifteen years. If you're familiar with them, you know the sound—post-hardcore with a punk edge, and they're still the same lineup that built it.
They're not coming alone. High Vis, Big Boy and Lowertown are all on the bill, so there are three openers to work through before Basement hits. It's a long night of music, and with four bands on one ticket, you'll get a good stretch of the evening covered.
