Singer-songwriter Amy Hall celebrates the release of her debut album 'Morning in May' with performances by Clean Fight and Bitch Fits at the historic Conor Byrne Pub.
Amy Hall is celebrating the release of her debut album, Morning in May, at Conor Byrne Pub on Thursday, October 22. She's not doing it solo: she'll be backed by a full group including Kade, Laura, and Linzy Collins, with instrumental cameos from Matt and Sleeplessstar11. Clean Fight and Bitch Fits open the night.
It's a full band for the occasion, so you'll hear the record played out with a proper ensemble rather than just a singer-songwriter set. The album is Morning in May, her first full-length release, and the show is built around it. With Clean Fight and Bitch Fits on the bill, there are three acts to work through before the night wraps.
The venue is Conor Byrne Pub, a cooperatively run live music spot in the heart of Ballard. For the last hundred years it's been a go-to watering hole for Seattle musicians—back when it was known as The Owl—and a good number of the city's legacy acts hail from its halls. It keeps that tradition going by booking both budding talent and household names.
