Top of the Hyatt is running A Season of Masquerade daily from October 2, 2026, through January 2, 2027, on the 40th floor of the Manchester Grand Hyatt. It's an immersive cocktail experience that changes as the months go by, with the room reimagined each time with dramatic décor, photo-worthy moments, and a menu of limited-time themed cocktails. The whole thing is set high above the city, so you've got sweeping views over San Diego while you're in there.
The season runs in two phases. October is Masquerade After Dark, when intrigue and glamour take over, and the month builds toward a Halloween night party with a live DJ. Then, across November and December, it shifts into A Very Merry Masquerade, which brings festive décor and seasonal cocktails to the 40th floor. The vibe evolves from mysterious and alluring in the autumn to merry and bright through the holidays, so the room you visit in October won't be the same one you find in December.

Entry is first come, first served with no reservations required, and the experience is open to guests 21 and over. It runs daily from 4 PM to 11 PM, though the kitchen closes at 9:30 PM, so if you're coming for food as well as drinks, you'll want to get there before then.
