The Confidence Talk: Women's Leadership Conference

The Confidence Talk: Women's Leadership Conference is coming to the San Diego Mission Bay Resort on Friday, October 9, from 9 AM to 4:30 PM. It's a full-day session built around The Confidence Talk: I SAID SOAR, the proprietary framework that author and speaker Idara Inwek Ogunsaju brings to her keynotes and immersive workshops. The San Diego Chamber of Commerce is framing the day under the theme "Fueling Confident Women Leaders - Strengthening San Diego's Economic Future."

The day is designed for women navigating the C-Suite or senior leadership, scaling their own business or professional practice, or preparing for a pivotal leadership transition. It combines focused learning, peer exchange, and networking with practical tools for leading under pressure, advocating in high-stakes situations, navigating complex conversations, and setting boundaries that support sustainable leadership.

Ogunsaju leads the day. She's an MHA consultant and coach who spent more than 20 years in healthcare, and she holds a BSc in Physiological Science from UCLA, a master's in Healthcare Administration from CSULA, and a Change Management Certification from Cornell University. Outside of her professional practice, she sits on the boards of several local non-profits and serves as Vice Chair of the San Diego County Commission on the Status of Women and Girls.
