Sofar Sounds - North Park

Sofar Sounds is hosting a live music session in North Park on Saturday, October 17, 2026. The show starts at 7:30 PM, and tickets are $27.

If you've never been to a Sofar show, the whole thing is built around a secret location. You don't find out where the music is happening until shortly before the show, so you're not walking into a traditional club or a theater. Instead, the music takes place in a living room or another kind of unique space—Sofar stages these gigs in rooftops, boutiques, and museums around the world. The idea is to bring live music back to intimate settings and create experiences that bring people closer together.

That's the core of what they do: taking the performance out of the usual venue and putting it somewhere unexpected. Because the location stays secret until the last minute, the space itself becomes part of the night. You're not just seeing a set; you're seeing it in a room that wasn't meant for a concert, which changes the whole feel of the evening. It's a more personal way to experience live music than a standard stage and crowd setup.

This particular session is in North Park, one of San Diego's more walkable neighborhoods, known for its craft breweries and galleries. The show runs on Saturday, October 17, starting at 7:30 PM, and tickets are $27.
