Sex Pistols reunion with Steve Jones, Paul Cook and Glen Matlock, featuring Frank Carter.
Sex Pistols are playing The Observatory North Park on Friday, October 16, with a lineup that brings together three original members. Steve Jones, Paul Cook, and Glen Matlock are all back on stage for this one, and they're sharing the front with Frank Carter on vocals.
If you're not familiar with the names, it's a reunion of the band's early core. Jones, Cook, and Matlock were all in the original lineup, and having them together in the same room is a rare thing. Carter takes over the singing, so the sound will be those same three playing the songs with a different voice leading the way. It's a specific kind of reunion—the original rhythm and guitar section intact, but with a new face on the mic.
