Techno DJ and producer Marie Vaunt performs with special guest T78 at the Nova SD club in San Diego.
Marie Vaunt plays Nova SD on Friday, December 11, with special guest T78. It's a techno night in the heart of downtown, and the lineup brings together two names from the acid side of the genre.
Vaunt is a Japanese American producer and DJ based in Los Angeles, and she's built her sound around massive rhythms, dark ethereal vocals, and acid lines. Her track That Acid hit number one on Beatport, and she's landed several more Top 10 hits there, with releases on Drumcode and Monstercat. That acid influence is exactly what she's bringing to the night.
She'll be joined by T78, a well-known name in the international techno scene, so the bill leans heavily into the harder, driving side of the room. Between the two, it's a full night of acid techno.

Nova SD opened in 2022 at 454 Sixth Ave and spreads across three levels, with a terrace featuring fire pits, a VIP area, and a 12-meter concave LED screen hanging over the dance floor, backed by dynamic lighting and lasers. The room is 21+ and cashless, so come prepared. The set runs from 10 PM to 2 AM, and tickets start at $14.95.
