Stand-up comedy show with LA comedian Kat Bird at The American Comedy Co.
Kat Bird is bringing her stand-up to The American Comedy Co. on Thursday, October 8, 2026. She's an LA comedian, and this is one of the stops on her 2026-2027 U.S. tour, so it's a proper headlining set rather than a spot on a mixed bill.
If you haven't seen her before, Bird works with sharp observational humor and a delivery that can shift from dry to surprisingly animated in the same bit. A good part of her material comes from her time in the tech world and her take on modern relationships, so if you've spent any time around corporate offices or navigating the current dating scene, you'll probably recognize a lot of what she's talking about. It's the kind of comedy that finds the funny in the specific, everyday frictions of working and living in the city.
The American Comedy Co. is at 818 B 6th Ave in San Diego, and they describe it as a classic club atmosphere—the kind of intimate room where you're close enough to the stage to catch the smaller reactions and the timing that can get lost in a bigger space. It's a good fit for a stand-up set, especially when the humor relies as much on the delivery as it does on the punchlines.
