Jonathan Van Ness: Hot & Healed Comedy Tour 2026

Jonathan Van Ness brings his Hot & Healed comedy tour to the Balboa Theatre on Saturday, October 10, 2026, at 8 PM. It's a single night in San Diego, and the show is part of a run that's stopped in cities across the US, Canada, and abroad.

If you know him from TV, you've probably seen him as the hair guru on Netflix's Queer Eye, the Emmy-winning reboot. But that's just one side of the thing. He's also a three-time New York Times best-selling author, a podcaster, a comedian, and a celebrity hairstylist who founded JVN Hair. He hosts the podcast Getting Curious with Jonathan Van Ness, and he starred in Gay of Thrones, the Emmy-nominated web series that recapped HBO's Game of Thrones for eight seasons starting in 2013.

Hot & Healed follows two other comedy tours, Road to Beijing and Imaginary Living Room Olympian, which sold out theaters in 40 cities. This one is the latest in that line. He's an Emmy winner across the board—for Queer Eye and Gay of Thrones—so the comedy side of his career has as much weight behind it as the hair and the hosting.

Two practical things to keep in mind before you head over: the Balboa Theatre is a cashless venue, so leave the cash at home and bring a card. Also, all ages must have their own ticket, so if you're bringing kids, make sure they're covered. The show starts at 8 PM on Saturday, October 10.
