Stand-up comedy show by Jo Koy, part of his Koy Meets World Tour, at the Civic Theatre.
Jo Koy brings his Koy Meets World tour to the Civic Theatre on Sunday, November 15, 2026. It's a single-night stop in San Diego, part of the larger tour he's taking across the country.
If you're not already familiar, Koy is one of the biggest names in stand-up right now. He started out performing in a Las Vegas coffee house and worked his way up to selling out arenas worldwide. His comedy is built around his family and his Filipino heritage, and that relatable, family-centric approach has kept him among the top ten grossing stand-up comedians each year according to Pollstar and Billboard.
He's also been doing a lot more than just the stage lately. In 2023, he signed a two-special deal with Netflix; the first, Jo Koy: Live From Brooklyn, was filmed at the historic King's Theatre and premiered on June 4, 2024. It became the sixth most-viewed special of the year, with over 240 million minutes watched. On the acting side, he starred in the 2022 Universal Pictures comedy Easter Sunday, produced by Steven Spielberg's Amblin Partners, and has appeared in Disney's Haunted Mansion. He's also lent his voice to characters in Netflix's Monkey King and Leo.

And if you need a sense of the scale he's playing at these days: on March 21, 2026, he and Gabriel 'Fluffy' Iglesias became the first comedians to sell out SoFi Stadium. That's a far cry from the coffee house where he got his start.
The show is at the Civic Theatre on Sunday, November 15, starting at 7:30 PM, with doors opening an hour before.
