Stand-up comedy show by Jimmy O. Yang at the San Diego Civic Theatre as part of his Has No Friends Tour.
Jimmy O. Yang brings his Has No Friends Tour to the San Diego Civic Theatre on Saturday, March 13, 2027. It's one stop in a 33-show North American run that opens January 15 at the Tampa Funny Bone and closes with two nights at the Encore Theater at Wynn Las Vegas on May 29 and 30.
If you're coming to him through his screen work, you probably know him as Jian-Yang from HBO's Emmy-winning Silicon Valley or from Crazy Rich Asians. He's also starred in Hulu's Interior Chinatown and the upcoming Netflix series The Roman, executive produced by Martin Scorsese and Oscar Isaac. He played Jian-Yang again in Netflix's Love Hard and wrote for Space Force. That's a lot of credits for one guy, and the stand-up is where he started.
Earlier this year he released his third special, Finally Home, which made him the first Asian comedian to debut a comedy special in cinemas. He filmed and directed it himself in Hong Kong; it premiered in theaters and now streams on Hulu. This tour follows his Big & Tall Tour, which did strong box office and included a sold-out night at Radio City Music Hall in New York.
