Howl-O-Ween Yappy Hour

Monkeybar is hosting its Howl-O-Ween Yappy Hour on Wednesday, October 28, from 4 PM to 7 PM, and it's one of those rare nights where bringing your dog along is actually the whole point. The bar is inside the lobby of the Town and Country Resort in Mission Valley, and for this particular happy hour, the dog menu gets as much attention as the human one.

On the drink side, there are spooky cocktail flights, including one served in a blood bag. The dog menu is just as detailed: dog beer, house-made dog biscuits, a Loco Moco, and dog ice cream. There's also a pet costume contest, so if you've been waiting for an excuse to put your dog in a costume, this is it. Between the drinks and the treats, they'll have astrology and tarot readings and pet caricatures going throughout the afternoon.

Monkeybar is the lobby bar at the Town and Country Resort, known for inventive craft cocktails, wood-fired pizzas, and elevated shareable bites, with palm-lined lawns, glowing fire pits, and a mid-century lounge. Beyond its usual happy hour, it hosts live music and special events like Yappy Hour. The resort also houses ARLO, the award-winning restaurant, Lapper Sports Bar + Kitchen, and MRKT + DELIVERY.

A portion of the night's sales goes to the Rancho Coastal Humane Society, so your drinks and dog treats end up supporting a local cause.
