Gala celebrating the growth and impact of High Tech High with films, presentations and a live auction.
Future FWD is the High Tech High Foundation gala, happening this Saturday, October 17, at Vesper Venue in Liberty Station. It's a night dedicated to the growth and impact of High Tech High, and the evening is built around films, presentations, and a live auction.
If you're not familiar, High Tech High is the charter school network known for its project-based learning, and the Foundation is the nonprofit that supports its work. The gala is their way of bringing the community together to look at what they've built and to raise the funds that keep it going. The films and presentations will walk through the school's progress and the effect it's had on its students, so you'll get a sense of the actual work behind the name.
The live auction is the other big part of the night, with the proceeds going back into the Foundation's programs. Between the films and the bidding, it's a full evening rather than a quick stop, and the whole thing runs from 6 PM to 11 PM. If you've been following the school's work or just want to see how it's gone, this is the night they put it all on display.
