Couch Dog returns to San Diego to perform live at the House of Blues.
Couch Dog is back in San Diego on Friday, December 4, playing the House of Blues. It's their first time performing in the city since their last run through Southern California, and this time they're taking the Voodoo Room, the smaller, more enclosed space inside the larger venue.
If you've followed them for a while, you know the drill: they're touring as a live act, and the set is built around their own material. They'll be playing a mix of songs from their latest work and some of the older stuff they've been carrying since the early days. It's a full-band show, and they're the only act on the bill, so the whole night is theirs.
For those who haven't caught them live yet, the Voodoo Room puts you closer to the stage than the main hall does, which changes how the set lands. It's a smaller room with a different energy, and since they're the sole feature, you'll get the full run of their set without an opening act to warm up the room first.

Doors open at 7 PM, and the show starts at 8 PM. If you're planning to grab a drink or a bite before the music kicks in, that hour between doors and the start gives you plenty of room to settle in. Tickets are available through Live Nation.
