Country music concert by Cody Carter and his band Ramblin' Fever at Lou Lou's Jungle Room, a 21+ venue.
Cody Carter & Ramblin' Fever play Lou Lou's Jungle Room on Friday, October 16, with the music starting at 10 PM. Carter is a rising name in San Diego's country scene, and this is a full-band night. He's backed by Nick Steckel on steel guitar, Cheyne Dolly on drums, Aaron Hook on bass, and Steven Crowle on electric guitar. The band has built its following around a residency at local bars, so if you've caught them around town, this is another chance to see them in a room.
Carter's own tastes run from Jackson Browne to Willie Nelson, and that range shows up in the music. He's been gaining ground in the city: in October 2024 he opened for Clint Black, and he earned a San Diego Music Awards nomination for Best Country Song. Ramblin' Fever is the group he's been playing with, and they're the ones filling out the sound behind him.
Lou Lou's Jungle Room is a jazz supper club inside The Lafayette Hotel at 2223 El Cajon Blvd in North Park. It's a 21+ room that holds around 580 people and also takes in private parties. There's no dinner service here, and no reservation is required—seating is first-come, first-served, so if you want a good spot, it's worth getting there early. Valet parking is available at the hotel, with street parking nearby, and the MTS Rapid 215 and local Route 1 both serve the area.
