Stand-up comedy show by Chris Fleming, whose special Chris Fleming: Live at the Palace earned an Emmy nomination.
Chris Fleming brings his stand-up to the Balboa Theatre on Thursday, November 19, 2026. He's a comedian, actor, and writer who's been moving between the stage and the screen for a while now, and this is a straight-ahead comedy set.
If you're coming to him from the TV side, you might recognize him from the Apple TV series Widow's Bay. On stage, he's toured with Chris Fleming Live, Showpig, Boba Everyday, and Tricky Tricky. His special Chris Fleming: Live at the Palace premiered on HBO and earned him an Emmy nomination for Outstanding Writing for a Variety Special. His debut special, Hell, was produced by Jax and Jen Statsky and streams on Peacock.
He's also got a few movie roles on the way: The Comeback King with Glen Powell, and The Catch with Emma Stone and Chris Pine. The critics have been paying attention, too. The New York Times, The New Yorker, Forbes, the Los Angeles Times, LA Weekly, Cosmopolitan, and HuffPost have all covered his work. Variety named him one of its "Top 10 Comics to Watch," Vulture listed him as one of the "Comedians You Should and Will Know," and The New York Times called his 2025 stand-up "Best Range." He also took home Comedy Performance of the Year at the 2026 Just for Laughs Festival.
