Charli xcx performs live at Viejas Arena as part of her Music, Fashion & Film Tour, with special guest Underscores.
Charli xcx plays Viejas Arena on Wednesday, October 14, as part of her Music Fashion Film Tour. It's her only San Diego date on this run, and the show starts at 8 PM.
Opening for her is underscores, who's touring as the special guest. If you're not familiar, underscores is a producer and songwriter known for a high-energy, glitchy sound that blends pop and electronic music. Having them on the bill means the night gets going well before Charli takes the stage.
As for the main event, Charli xcx is touring Music Fashion Film, the title of the tour. The set will center on that material, and the tour's name points to the three things she's been working around lately: music, fashion, and film. It's a good way to frame what she does, since her work usually crosses all three. You'll hear the new songs from the tour, and the set will likely draw from her earlier records too, so there's a mix of the new stuff and the older songs she's known for.
