Orlando-based DJ and producer Avello performs future-bass and melodic bass live at Music Box SD as part of the Monster Energy Up & Up Festival.
Avello plays Music Box SD on Wednesday, December 2, as part of the Monster Energy Up & Up Festival. He's an Orlando-based DJ and producer who works in future-bass and melodic bass, and he'll be the only act on the bill.
If you haven't come across him yet, Avello is known for pairing melodic songwriting and emotional moments with high-energy production. His remixes of "No Broke Boys" and "Electric Love" were what first put him on a wider radar, and since then he's collaborated with a long list of names: Gryffin, Sasha Alex Sloan, Big Gigantic, Rossy, Laszewo, San Holo, YDG, and Jordin Sparks. His work with Sparks, "WE OWN THE NIGHT," ended up being his first official EDM release and earned a Grammy nomination.
2026 has been a big year for him. He was named to EDM.com's Class of 2026, picked up several EDMAs, and played Lollapalooza, Electric Forest, and EDC Las Vegas. This San Diego stop is presented by Monster Energy and the Up & Up Festival, which the venue credits with bringing 18+ electronic music events to the city and building a dedicated dance music community around them.
