Texas Public Radio live storytelling event with seven stories across five sessions, from Linger to Safe.
Texas Public Radio brings another night of Worth Repeating to the MalĂş and Carlos Alvarez Theater on Tuesday, October 13. If you've followed the series, you know the drill: seven storytellers, each with seven minutes to tell a great story on stage. It's the same format that turned the live show into a podcast, and it still plays to sold-out crowds.
This particular night is part of the 2026-2027 season, and the lineup runs through seven stories across five sessions, starting with Linger and working its way through to Safe. Each session is built around a different theme, so you'll get a few different moods in one sitting rather than one long stretch of the same thing. The seven-minute limit keeps it moving, too—no one overstays their welcome, and the stories follow one after another without much gap.
Worth Repeating is presented by Texas Public Radio, and the whole thing is built on the simple idea of people telling stories live on stage. The shows are recorded for the podcast, so the energy in the room is part of what ends up in the final cut. If you're into storytelling, it's a good way to hear a handful of different voices in a single evening.
