Chinese American Bear (εθ£ηΎε½η) is a bilingual mando-pop/rock duo that works entirely DIYβthey write, produce, engineer, and mix everything themselves. Their sound pulls from a wide spread: C-pop, experimental, psychedelic pop, synth pop, dream pop, indie pop, and mandopop. They've been described as the child of Melody's Echo Chamber, The Flaming Lips, Dusty Springfield, and The Care Bears, and they regularly pair 60s and 70s retro sounds with lighthearted lyrics about food, flying through space, and other subjects that don't take themselves too seriously.
