A family-friendly Second Sunday program at The San Antonio Museum of Art where visitors explore the museum's collection through pocket-sized poetry.
The San Antonio Museum of Art hosts Pocket-sized Poetry on Sunday, November 8, from 10 AM to noon. It's part of the museum's Second Sundays, a family-friendly program that encourages visitors to slow down and explore the collection together. The session focuses on pocket-sized poetry, so it's a good one to bring the kids along for.
SAMA itself is housed in a historic brewery along the Museum Reach of the Riverwalk, and the collections inside cover a lot of ground. You'll find Egyptian, Greek and Roman antiquities, Asian art, Latin American art, contemporary art and American paintings all under one roof. If you've never spent a full morning there, this is a low-pressure way to start.
Every week we pick 🏆 the 5 best 🏆 things to do in San Antonio and send them to your inbox. Just one weekly email, no spam.
