A premium concert experience featuring The Laser Spectacular performing the greatest hits of 1990s rock, grunge, alternative rock, pop, hip-hop and R&B.
Rock the 90s comes to the Charline McCombs Empire Theatre on Saturday, October 17, with The Laser Spectacular fronting the night. It's a live recreation of 1990s rock, pairing Paramount's Laser Spectacular with the music of the decade. The set pulls from grunge, alternative rock, pop, hip-hop and R&B, and the musicians on the bill will be playing hits from Nirvana, STP, Pearl Jam, Foo Fighters and more.
Rock the 90s has been running for over a decade, and its musicians have shared the stage with Sister Hazel, Everclear, Sugar Ray, Cowboy Mouth, 38 Special, Robin Trower and Skid Row. The show is billed as a premium concert experience, with the laser show running alongside the music.
The night is staged inside the historic Charline McCombs Empire Theatre at 226 N St Mary's St, a San Antonio landmark known for its classic architecture. A couple of things to keep in mind before you head downtown: the Empire operates as a cashless venue, so you'll want to have a card on you for drinks or merch. They also don't permit large bags, backpacks or oversized purses inside, so leave the big bag in the car.
