A day of fall activities with pumpkin painting, carving contest, live music, and seasonal treats, centred around the new Coyote's Corn Corral.
Pumpkin Palooza takes over The Rock at La Cantera on Saturday, October 17, from 11 AM to 9 PM. It's a full day of fall activities built around Coyote's Corn Corral, a new giant interactive corn pit presented by Bright Event Rentals that lets kids and families step right into the autumn spirit. The day opens with a ribbon cutting for the corral at 11:50 AM.
There's a pumpkin carving contest running throughout the day, with entries on display from 12 PM to 6 PM and the winner announced between 5 PM and 6 PM. Beside that, you'll find pumpkin painting and crafts, and a string of fall games: pumpkin bowling, pumpkin tic-tac-toe, a pretzel toss, and a stein-holding contest. From 2 PM to 5 PM, there's a fall family photo op—a free 60-second session with a professional photographer, and you'll get a digital download of the photo within five days. If you're into football, college games run on the big screen from 12 PM to 11 PM, and local vendors will have fall-themed food and drink on hand.

The whole thing is free to attend, with free parking and all ages welcome, though you'll need a separate paid ticket to enter the corn pit. The Rock at La Cantera is at 1 Spurs Way in San Antonio.
