Live and Local with Solitary Witch

Solitary Witch is playing a comedy set at Sam's Burger Joint on Tuesday, October 13. It's part of the Live and Local series, which brings local acts into the room for a night of stand-up. The show starts at 7:30 PM, so you've got the whole evening ahead of you if you want to grab a burger and a drink before the set kicks off.

For those who haven't caught them yet, Solitary Witch is the sole name on the bill for this one. It's a straightforward comedy session—no opening act to sit through, just one comic taking the stage for the night. If you're already familiar with their work, it's a chance to see it live; if not, it's a low-stakes way to get a first look.

Sam's Burger Joint is over at 330 E Grayson St. in San Antonio, right in the heart of the city. It's a spot that does exactly what the name says—burgers and drinks—which makes it easy to turn a comedy night into a full dinner and a show. You can roll in early, get some food on the table, and settle in before the comedy starts.

The best part is the price: it's a free show. No tickets to buy in advance, no cover at the door. Between that and the 7:30 PM start, it's a pretty easy Tuesday night to put together. If you're around San Antonio on the 13th and fancy some stand-up, you know where to find it.
