Country music band Little Big Town performs live on their For the Art of It Tour, with support from Waylon Payne.
Little Big Town bring their For the Art of It Tour to the Majestic Theater on Thursday, October 29, 2026. It's a stop on the road for the country group, who've built their name on four-part harmony and a songbook that pulls from both the radio and the roots of the genre. They'll be joined by Waylon Payne, who opens the night.
Little Big Town is a group of four singers—Karen Fairchild, Kimberly Schlapman, Jimi Slater, and Philip Sweet—and the harmony is the thing that defines them. Rather than one lead voice with backup, they often sing in unison or split the melodies across the four of them, which is what gives their sound its particular weight. The For the Art of It Tour is the current run they're taking that sound on the road.
Waylon Payne takes the stage first, so there's a full bill before the headliner comes on. If you're coming for Little Big Town, you'll get a whole second act to settle in with before they take over. The two acts together make for a full evening of country music, with Payne handling the opening slot and Little Big Town closing it out.
