A free, all-ages Latin dance night featuring beginner-friendly salsa and bachata lessons, live music, and dance performances.
Latin Dance Night returns to Stable Hall on Wednesday, October 28, from 7 PM to 10 PM. It's part of the Latin Dance Nights at Pearl series hosted by Algo Nuevo at Pearl, a dance collective that brings weekly social energy to the hall with salsa, bachata, merengue, and cumbia. The night follows a set formula: doors and happy hour start at 7 PM, a free beginner-friendly dance lesson kicks off at 8:30 PM, and the music takes over from 9:15 PM. No experience is necessary and all levels are welcome, so you can show up knowing nothing and still get on the floor.
This particular night has a full lineup. Semeneya Dance Studio handles the salsa and bachata lessons, DJ Plaziuz keeps the music going, and Fuego y Agua Dancers and FramboyΓ‘n Dance Studios provide live performances. Beyond the weekly social floor, the collective also puts on recurring live bands, festive theme nights, and costume contests. It's a free, all-ages event, and while there's no cover charge, support at the bar is encouraged. Stable Hall is at 307 Pearl Parkway in San Antonio.
