A political debate between Bexar County Judge candidates Ron Nirenberg and Patrick Von Dohlen, moderated by Andrea Drusch as part of the Inside The Midterms series.
Texas Public Radio is hosting a Bexar County Judge debate this Thursday, Oct 15, as part of its Inside The Midterms series. The two candidates on stage will be Ron Nirenberg and Patrick Von Dohlen, and the whole thing is moderated by Andrea Drusch, the senior government and politics reporter at the San Antonio Report. The series is built around putting candidates on stage to articulate their visions for the county, so this is one of those nights where you get to hear them lay out their platforms side by side rather than through a campaign ad.
If you're planning to be there, keep in mind that the audience gets a say in the conversation. You can send in your own questions by SMS to (210) 796-6853, so if there's something specific you want them to address, you can put it right in the mix. It's a good way to make sure the things that actually matter to you get some airtime.
Every week we pick 🏆 the 5 best 🏆 things to do in San Antonio and send them to your inbox. Just one weekly email, no spam.

On the logistics side, doors open at 5:30 PM and the debate kicks off shortly before 6 PM. It's in San Antonio, and you'll need to RSVP to attend, so make sure you've got that sorted before you head over. If you've been following the race, this is one of the few times you'll see the two of them in the same room, talking through their plans for the county in person.
