SeaWorld San Antonio's Halloween event with haunted houses, scare zones, horror-themed shows and haunted thrill rides for a mature audience.
SeaWorld San Antonio brings back Howl-O-Scream this fall, running September 11 through November 1 on select dates. It's the park's Halloween event, and they bill it as their scariest—it takes over the whole park with haunted houses, scare zones, sinister shows, and horror-themed entertainment that reaches even the thrill rides.
It's aimed at a mature audience, and they're clear about that: expect intense adult content, including violence, gore, and blood. One thing to keep in mind before you head out is that costumes aren't allowed. If you're looking for a bit more, the park offers Howl-O-Scream upgrades that get you priority entry to the most popular rides and haunts, plus reserved seating at participating shows.

Logistically, it's a nighttime affair. The event runs from 7 PM until the park closes, and you can enter the park as early as 6 PM. Admission is included with your park ticket, so if you have an Annual Pass, you're covered. A single-day daytime ticket also includes nighttime admission, meaning you can spend the day at the park and stay through the evening for the event. Just be sure to check the calendar for the specific dates it's running.
