Halloween Cinema Night: Mr. Anderson's Possessed Car

Mayhem Film Kreations is bringing a horror shorts program to Fitzgerald's Bar and Live Music Venue on Tuesday, October 13, as part of their Halloween Cinema Night. The night centers on the work of filmmaker Maria Galindo, with a selection of her horror shorts screened back-to-back. The main feature is Mr. Anderson's Possessed Car, but that's not the only thing on the bill: GO HOME and WITCH HOUR are also part of the lineup, so you'll get a few different pieces of her work in one sitting rather than just the one.

It's a straightforward setup—a few horror shorts from one director, all screened in the same room. If you're into the short film format, it's a good way to see a handful of pieces in a single evening. Since they're all from Galindo, you'll get a better sense of her approach to the genre than you would from a single short on its own.

Fitzgerald's is at 437 McCarty Rd #101 in San Antonio. Doors open at 7 PM and the films start at 8 PM, so there's an hour to get settled before the first one rolls. There's no cover charge for the night, and parking is free, which makes it an easy one to drop into without much planning. One thing to keep in mind: the screening is for over-21s only, so bring your ID. Doors at 7 PM, films at 8 PM, no cover.
