Coyote's Corn Corral presented by Bright Event Rentals

Coyote's Corn Corral, presented by Bright Event Rentals, makes its debut at The Rock at La Cantera on Saturday, October 17. It's a giant, interactive corn play pit set up at Frost Plaza, and it opens with a ribbon cutting at 12 PM that same day. From there, it runs through November 8, so you've got a few weeks to fit it in.

It's billed as a pop-up experience for little explorers, playful parents, and anyone looking to soak up the crisp autumn air. The corn pit is open to all ages, and you'll need a ticket to enter. It's a timed thing, too—quantities are limited per session, so it's worth planning ahead rather than just rolling up and hoping for the best.

The timing works well if you're already planning a trip to the area: the grand opening falls on the same day as Pumpkin Palooza, so you can hit both in one go. After the opening weekend, the hours shift a bit. From Monday through Friday, the pit is open from 4 PM to 9 PM, and on Saturday and Sunday, it runs from 12 PM to 9 PM. That gives you a choice between an after-work visit during the week or a full afternoon on the weekend.

Tickets start at $6 per person. Between the opening on October 17 and the close on November 8, you've got plenty of time to get your kids—and yourself—into the corn.
