Alfred Robles

Alfred Robles is playing The Laugh Out Loud Comedy Club on Friday, October 16, at 7 PM. He's a stand-up comedian known for an energetic delivery and for stories about growing up in Los Angeles, and this set brings his current material to the stage.

That material builds on the work from his specials and club appearances, so it's not a brand-new start—it's the same voice and the same stories you'll recognize from his other records, just worked out live. The club setting puts him close to the crowd, which fits the conversational style he's known for: relatable anecdotes told as if he's just talking to you, rather than performing a polished routine. If you're into comedy that feels more like a conversation than a monologue, that's exactly where this sits.

Robles grew up in Los Angeles, and those years in LA are a recurring thread in his work. Much of what he does comes from that background, and this show continues to draw from it. It's the kind of comedy that works best when you can hear the timing and the reactions in the room, and a club like Laugh Out Loud is built for that.

One thing to keep in mind: the night is billed as an 18+ event, so you'll need to be at least 18 to get in. The show starts at 7 PM on Friday, October 16, at The Laugh Out Loud Comedy Club in San Antonio.
