Acid Bath returns to the stage after nearly three decades, joined by Kylesa, Twin Tribes and The Atlas Moth in an all-ages show.
Acid Bath play the Boeing Center at Tech Port on Friday, November 6, with Kylesa, Twin Tribes and The Atlas Moth opening. It's an all-ages show, general admission floor only, with free on-site parking and an ADA-compliant venue.
If you've never heard of them, Acid Bath formed in the Louisiana bayou in 1991. They put out their first album, When the Kite String Pops, in 1994, and followed it with a second and final record, Paegan Terrorism Tactics, in 1996. The band broke up in 1997 after bassist Audie Pitre died, leaving behind a cult following and a sound that's hard to pin down. It pulls from sludge metal, Southern gothic, psychedelic rock, death metal, grind, stoner, blues rock and even folk.
They've been away from live performance for nearly three decades, but they're back on stage now. They've spent 2026 filling the calendar with more shows, including US tour dates with Ministry and Obituary that played to metal fans at Manhattan's Pier 17. This San Antonio date is part of that run.
