A one-mile walk to raise funds for breast cancer research and patient support, with over 7,000 participants expected.
The 2026 Komen San Antonio MORE THAN PINK Walk returns to SeaWorld San Antonio on Saturday, October 17. It's Susan G. Komen's breast cancer awareness and fundraising event, a one-mile course that usually brings more than 7,000 walkers to the city to honor survivors and people living with metastatic breast cancer. The money raised goes toward research and patient support, including access to screening, diagnosis, and treatment, treatment assistance, and community care. Komen also advocates for government funding and patient rights.
This year's walk is led by Event Chairs Jennifer Cantu, Senior VP and San Antonio Market Executive at Bank of America, and Anna Hill, VP and Community Relations Manager I, Philanthropy at Bank of America. Both have been local non-profit volunteers for a long time, and Hill is a breast cancer survivor herself. Top fundraisers are recognized as Komen Legends Club members, and Hope the ShareForCures Unicorn helps connect participants to ShareForCures, Komen's research registry.
