Halloween-themed roller derby showcase with costume contest, carnival games and prizes from Wasatch Roller Derby and Wasatch Junior Rollers.
Wasatch Roller Derby is taking over the Salt Palace Convention Center on Saturday, October 24, for Goosebumps & Bruises, a Halloween-themed showcase that puts the sport center stage. The afternoon is built around several roller derby games, with both the Wasatch Roller Derby and the Wasatch Junior Rollers taking to the track. If you've never seen it live, it's a full-contact sport played on skates, and having the junior skaters on the same bill means you get to see the sport across different age groups in one go.
The derby is the main event, but the day is set up as a full Halloween gathering. Your ticket gets you into a costume contest, carnival games, and prizes, so it works as a standalone afternoon rather than just a few games to watch and leave. The whole thing runs on a single pass, meaning you can hang out between bouts without having to pay for separate activities.
